This unit is in great working condition having just been completely overhauled. This included a Refurbished brew unit and all seals.

The system has been completely flushed and decalcified. Although just by the nature of what it is, there will be some coffee grinds somewhere on/in it. Due to its size and weight (nearly 12kg unpacked) I would prefer local collection from GU46 6..

Simply fill beans in the bean hopper, water in the water tank and push anyone of the programmable drink buttons, and the machine will grind exactly the right quantity of beans and brew a delicious cup of espresso or coffee to exactly the volume, strength and temperature you like. The S70 has got 2 internal heating systems: one for brewing coffee and on providing steam for frothing or heating milk as well as hot water for tea. Most espresso machines feature only one heating system, meaning you have to wait for the steam facility to get ready after having brewed the coffee. S 2 heating systems, there is no waiting time; you can go straight from one function to the other. To ensure that the coffee stays warm in the cup, the S70 has got a purpose built cup-warming tray on top.

In terms of maintenance, there is very little to do. The digital display on the machine will tell you when to empty the grounds tray, refill the beans and water and occasionally to put a cleaning tablet through the system.
